Overall it is a beautifully designed and beautifully kept hotel and we enjoyed the stay, the location was stunning in the neighbouring field. Make sure to get twin room with the worst TV ever, the bedroom, for instance. Genuinely helpful people are working there. Exceptional service and the food is delightful.

We had an absolutely stunning and incredibly comfortable room where central heating, an iron, and a coffee/tea maker were available. Booked the hotel for its great and peaceful location next to the restaurant and bar, the Zoo and Windermere, which was a 40 minute drive away and beautiful beach. It also was to the nature reserve about a 20-minute walk away.

Can be described as a pleasant experience, recommend. We think it's a fantastic base for staying in Barrow-in-Furness. The rooms are well decorated and modern and complete with a normal double bed, a bath, the air con. The staff is excellent and attentive.

Had a fabulous stay here during our weekend. We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, but everything was good. The room was absolutely stunning and amazingly comfortable, also it had smoke detectors. Included central heating, an iron and a coffee/tea maker, and the bed was soft.

The location is marvellous and absolutely perfect, 3 km from Furness Abbey. It's in a very clean modern building in the great area. When I am in Barrow-in-Furness, I like staying here.

This hotel is equal to 4 stars. Staff was great and food was delicious. Stunning location in general, close enough to everything. Also, we could visit an English Heritage-run 12th-century abbey, it was 5 minutes' drive away. The best thing was the management. Having a terrace was a nice addition.
